Question:
How can I convert my existing extended cab bak flip G2 from 2012 Ram 1500 extended cab to a 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab unit? Can I buy a replacement part on the end to convert the bak flip G2 is 6 months old.

I reached out to my tech contact at Bak Industries and there is not a conversion available for any of their products. They said that it isn't as easy as just trading out a panel for a shorter size.
If you want the same model that is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Ram 1500, you will want the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum # BAK26204 for an 8 foot bed or # BAK26203 for a 6 foot bed. If you have the 6 foot bed with RamBox you will want # BAK26203RB.
