Question:

I read the information about flat towing a wrangler and noticed a statement that said: For a base plate, the # RM-521448-5 you referenced would work fine, as long as your Jeep isnt a Hard Rock model. I plan to get a 2017 Rubicon hard rock and want to flat tow it. Is that okay? Thanks

For a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock Edition the Roadmaster base plate kit you can use is part # 1444-3 which will fit your Hard Rock so long as you do NOT have the American Expedition Vehicles bumper. The linked video shows installation of this kit on a 2015 Unlimited.

These base plates work with Roadmaster's motorhome-mounted tow bars, such as the Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 or the all terrain version # RM-522.
