Hitch Cargo Carrier that Allows Rear Door to Open Railing

Question:
I have a 2012 Wrangler 2door with the factory tow package. Ive built an AEV JK350 Jeep with 35s, and all cargo carriers seem to be 0.5-1inch too tall to open the tailgate while installed. Is there such a thing as a trailer hitch with a 500lb+ max TW that would mount just slightly lower than the factory one so I dont need to get a 2inch extension/?

Check out the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18145. We installed this carrier on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and determined that with the carrier installed the rear door was able to open. I attached a video that shows this. Fast forward to the 30 second mark to see the door open with the carrier installed.
This cargo carrier has a 500 lb capacity.
As far as a lower trailer hitch, that's not something we offer.
