I have included a link to a video on adjusting self-adjusting brakes. Basically there is a device on the adjustment wheel on these brakes that prevents the shoes from adjusting back inward. You have to sort of move that out of the way to be able to turn the adjustment star wheel easier. The video shows the process. I also recommend adjustment spoon # W80630 to make things easier.

I am not able to find the link to the video you mentioned above. You describe exactly the fix Im in.Lippert self-adjusting brakes. Cant loosen the star wheel. Dont see how to release it. Brake locked up tight. Help please.

@RonH Having the same issue as Ron. Brakes locked up and star wheel won’t move. Looks as if the star wheel is designed to move in one direction.

@GreggW I recently had my wheel lock up also. I tore that F-ing thing off and replaced with adjustable brakes, still need to adjust the other 3 wheels but don't want to go thru same thing. What a PITA.
