Question:
I have a 2021 Grand Design Reflection 367BHS 5th wheel. Currently it only has one AC unit in the living area. Im interested in installing a 2nd unit in the front bedroom. What is the difference between a single zone vs multi zone AC unit?

A multi-zone system is going to allow you to control the temperature in multiple zones with one wall thermostat. For example the living room could be set for 70 degrees and the front bed room could be set for 60. You could achieve this with the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Mutli Zone - 15,000 Btu - LED - White # FR67FJ.
A single-zone system like the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR23PV is just going to pump out the same temperature for the whole RV. If the unit you currently have isn't Furrion then it will not link up to this unit and you would be using two separate single zone units with two thermostats. If down the road you wanted to replace the current unit with another Furrion unit you would be able to wire them together to create a multi-zone system that would work off of one thermostat.
