How is the pin removed and how wide is the opening with the clevis pushed back? Thanks

My contact at Bulldog Winch confirmed that the 3/8-inch sling hook on their part # BDW20118 has a pin that can be tapped out with a punch and a light tap from a hammer. I went to our warehouse and measured this item and found that the clevis opening is 1-1/4-inches when the clevis is pressed flat against the hook.
