Should Bump Stops be Added to a Trailer when Using and Over/Under Conversion Kit

I am planning on installing a over under kit on my Starcraft AR-1 BH16 single axle to gain ground clearance. Should I install bump stops to prevent the highly unlikely possibility of the leaf spring compressing beyond their intended flex?

Your StarCraft trailer would have to be overloaded and/or you would have to hit a pretty severe bump for the leaf springs to deflect beyond what they are designed for. SInce there is a chance this could happen, albeit a small one, having some extra protection would not be a bad idea. You could use Timbren springs # TTRA1702.
