Replacement Leaf Spring Recommendation for a 2005 Keystone Outback with 3,500 lb Axle
Published 08/22/2016 >
Question:
Is part # e54SR the correct part for a 2005 Keystone Outback travel trailer, model 27RSDS? I do believe that the axles are ALKO 3500 pound axles.

Expert Reply:
Most likely yes as the leaf springs part # e54SR are 3,500 lb rated like what your 2005 Keystone Outback Travel Trailer has axles rated for.
The capacity of the spring is the most important factor in picking out the correct spring. Next you want to match the length of the spring to what you currently have. This spring is a 25-1/8 inch long spring. Measure yours without a load on it. If yours is right around 25-1/4 inch (they stretch over time) this spring would be a perfect replacement.
Worst case scenario you would have to move the hangers.
