Leaf Spring Recommendation for 6k Axle that Measures 25-1/4 inches in Length
Published 08/11/2016 >
Question:
I purchased 4 of the 5 leaf double eye 3000 lbs. springs for my 38 ft fifth wheel RV last year and the springs have flattened out already. Is there a better made spring that will fit my RV that wont flatten out over time? The original springs lasted 8 years before they flattened out and these seem to have a much shorter life to them. I have scaled the RV and it isnt over the weight rating for two 6000 lbs. axles so I dont think that it is a weight issue. Can you recommend better springs? I see that there are 6 leaf 3000 lbs. springs available but they measure 26 inches between the eyes and mine are 25 1/4 inches, is this a big issue that will cause them not to fit? THanks, 2007 Cedar Creek 34 SATS 5th wheel RV

I checked your order notes and you ordered a spring that we no longer carry back in 2014. The leaf spring part # e34SR that you referenced is a spring we just started carrying that I would recommend for you as it is the correct length and capacity.
I attached a review video for this spring for you to check out as well.
