Replacing Rivet Covers on Thule Roof Cargo Boxes
Published 07/01/2016 >
Question:
Do the OEM rivet caps on the Thule box covers currently force/sonic pop out/off easily, and if they do can they be reused and push back in? Or, once off do I need to replace with these new replacement ones?

The Thule rivet covers you mentioned are compression fit and would typically fit pretty tightly. They usually won't pop out on their own. If one comes out, you can re-install it or replace it with # 14303. A tiny drop of super glue will help the cover stay in place.
If the cap is missing, it can allow a small amount of moisture to enter the box so it's recommended to replace the covers if they go missing.
