Question:
I have a curt 20 in my 2015 gmc long bed 2500 pulling a 2016 cougar 327 res 12,500 lbs. will the Reese 16 fit

Expert Reply:
The Reese 16K 5th wheel hitch # RP30051 will fit into any industry-standard 5th wheel base rails, including rails from Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden-Hitch, Husky, Pro Series, Reese and Valley. These are the same type of rails that accept the Curt Q 20 hitch # C16130. Since you have long bed you won't need to use a sliding hitch and could instead use the fixed model # RP30047
If you happen to need a replacement 5th wheel wire harness for the bed of the truck you can use part # C56000, which simply plugs in to the back of your bumper-mounted 7-way.
