I went out to the warehouse and pulled Fastway Tethered 7-Way Trailer Connector Cover # FA82-00-3315 to measure it for you. The inside diameter is approximately 1.57 inches in diameter which is just a hair over 1-9/16 inches. It is not the easiest to measure since it is pliable rubber which is why the measurement is approximate. It fits over a standard trailer side 7-Way connector like # PK12706.
