Question:
Hello - can you explain how this is mounted to trailer frame? Im picturing U-bolts to clamp through the mounting plate to side of trailer. Do you have mounting kits separately? Thank you

I went out to the warehouse and measured the bolt dimensions on the Curt Battery Box for Breakaway kits # C52090 and found that the diameter of the mounting holes are 17/64th of an inch in diameter. The hole spacing is 2 inches by 5-1/2 inches, I have linked a diagram to this page for you to better see these.
Since this is a bolt-on application I would instead suggest directly bolting this to the frame of your trailer, because you will likely have a tough time finding u-bolts to fit these dimensions and it is not recommended to mount this unit sideways.
