Question:

I have a Dexter 7000# tandem axels, Dexter Axel calls for a eye to eye distance of 25 1/4. will your e64SR springs work as replacement springs for these axels ?

If you need the full capacity of your 7K tandem axles the # e64SR is the leaf spring you will need.

These double eye leaf springs require a 29-1/2 inch distance between the front and center hangers and the center and rear hangers. Worst case scenario you will need to move the two outer hangers on your trailer to accommodate this spacing.

You may also be able to compensate for the difference with a slightly longer equalizer or longer shackle straps to make up for the shorter spring.

If you need a new hanger kit, I recommend the # APT5, because it will include everything you need.
