Question:
We plan on installing your C56249 wiring harness on this vehicle. We also want to install the 7 pole adapter part # C57674. On our travel trailer we were thinking of installing part # TK94FR, the Tekonska Prodegy Wireless Brake controller. My question is this the right way to go? If we go this way what do you do with the wire that go to the Brake controller coming off the 7 pole adapter. Also what is with the purple wire, they show cutting it off in the video when installing the 7 pole adapter. The video showing how to install the wiring harness on this vehicle is really awesome. We will however have to take the wire from the wiring harness to the underside of the vehicle to hook up the 7 pole adapter but that shouldnt be a problem. My question is.... in your opinion is this the way to go or is there a better option.

First, I recommend the Curt T-Connector harness # C56327 for your 2015 Ford Transit T350. You can still use adapter # C57674.
The great part about this set up is that if you are using the Prodigy RF brake controller # TK94FR then you only need to hardwire the black power wire from the adapter to the battery via a 40 amp circuit breaker, # PK54540. You will also need enough wire to go from the back of the van to the battery. You can use wire # 12-1-1 which is sold by the foot. Then you would just ground the white wire to the frame, plug in the 4-Way, and pair the Prodigy RF with its handheld unit.
The blue wire on the adapter won't be needed for this set up and you can just use a wire nut to cap it off. The same goes for the reverse light wire. If the trailer doesn't have reverse lights then you don't need to splice it into a reverse light wire at the back.
The Prodigy RF installation is going to require less hardwiring than an in-cab controller so it that regard it is a great option. The RF was designed so that one trailer could be towed by different tow vehicles and still have working electric brakes but it is also good for vehicles that cannot have an in-cab controller installed. Plus it is a good brake controller so I do think it is a great option for you.
