The 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # RP30051, itself is not vehicle specific, so it will fit your 1997 Chevy Silverado (C/K) 3500 Dually. You will just need the correct installation kit. For your truck, you can use Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, # RP30035. Instructions for your truck start on page 5 of the installation details linked below.
