Question:

Hi does this hitch reciever Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, part # 87642 work for both Acura RDX 2014 and Saris Freedom 2 hitch bike rack? I will be primarily using the the reciever for only bikes. Is there a cheaper alternative that you offer? I already have the saris freedom 2 bike rack. thx

The Draw-Tite Class III trailer hitch you mentioned, part # 75784 would be a good choice, but the Curt Class III, # C13130 is the most affordably priced hitch option we offer for your 2014 Acura RDX. The Curt hitch has a slightly higher capacity (which would be limited by the vehicle's towing capacity if it's less than that of the hitch.)

The Saris Freedom 2 bike rack you already have, which I'm guessing is part # SA4412B would indeed be compatible with the hitch. Your rack will have plenty of clearance to the rear bumper fo the vehicle.

The hitch would work well with the vehicle, and the rack you already have would be compatible with the hitch.

If you'll also be doing some towing with your hitch, you'll also need the following accessories to complete your towing setup:

Trailer wiring harness w/ 4 pole trailer connector, part # 118500
Ball mount, part # 2753
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260 or 2 inch ball, part # 63845
