Where to Install Diodes for Flat Towing a 2013 Honda CR-V

Question:

I am at the point of the installation of the 6 diode wiring kit on my 2013 Honda CR-V. I looked at your videos and the closest video is of the Honda Fit. Unfortunately the fit wiring is all accomplished in the rear under the interior body panels where as the CVR wiring is not even close to that. All of my wiring is through the interior steel structures of the car and it looks like disassembly of a lot of interior is required. Do you have any videos of my Honda or suggestions of a web site for further instruction? I dont reall want to dissemble the car to install this kit.

I have included a link to a video on the 4-diode kit # RM-154 being installed on a 2014 Honda CR-V that will help. All you will need is access to the wiring behind the tail lights of the vehicle as if you were going to change a bulb. Its actually probably easier on the CR-V than the Fit!

Once you have access to the wiring behind the tail lights you will just test the wires to determine the functions and install the diodes and wiring accordingly.
