Installing a Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2012 Audi Q5

Question:
I splice the brown and red wire together?
asked by: Josh C
Helpful Expert Reply:
The brake lights and tail lights should be on the same wire on your 2012 Audi Q5 and the turn signals will have their own wires. So when installing wiring harness # C59236 follow the PWM-ST instructions.
For this installation the harness green wire splices to the vehicle right turn signal wire. Yellow is left turn signal wire. Red splices to the combined brake/tail light wire on the vehicle. Brown you will ground with the white wire.
