How do I determine if my rims are rated for enough air pressure to go up to the next load range tire , for example from E rated to G?

Typically the limiting factor on a trailer rim when it comes to tire pressure is the valve stem used on the wheel. Sometimes you can still find the air pressure rating printed on the rim but usually it's the valve stem that is the factor to consider.
For a G rated 235/85R16 the part # TTWPRG235R16 would work well. This tire has a 110 psi rating.
