Question:
i have a 97 honda crv with a blue ox bx2218 611 i7 baseplate mounted on it i also have a roadmaster sterling towbar s/n 024221 that i would like to use will the rm-031-5 bracket adapter work ? what about the quick disconnect safety cables ball ends ?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since your Sterling tow bar has a serial number above 14,501 you can use Roadmaster adapter # RM-031-5 to attach to the Blue Ox base plates # BX2218 on your 1997 Honda CR-V.
The Blue Ox base plates cannot be fitted with quick disconnects or the keeper for the EZ Hook safety cables. So I recommend using straight safety cables # RM-645.
