Question:
Im looking to enhance the front end of my 2000 TJ because of my plow it dips when the plow is on, especially as I go over bumps. I am considering either The Timbren SES TJFTJ or the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs CSS-1168F. I thought about the Air Helpers, but question the durability in cold and under the plow load. Recommendations? Also, have a hitch on the back...dont tow a lot, but wondered if it might help even things out when plowing to put the SumoSprings on the back as well. As you can see from the pic, with the plow frame work on, it sits fairly even, but add the plow, and it drops.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2000 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) I recommend Timbren front helper springs # TJFTJ. These springs will provide better support than the Coil SumoSprings. Air bags could be used, the durability is not an issue, but for this application I find air bags to be unnecessary. They require maintenance, you have to add and remove the air compared to the Timbren springs that require nothing after the initial installation.
Since the load of the plow is only at the front you would not need anything to level the rear. And there are no Timbren or SumoSprings that will fit the rear, only air bags. If you go with air bags then I recommend Firestone, # F4157.
