Are the wings in the end wide enough to cradle 4foot wide plywood/?

When the arms of the Erickson Big Bed Load Extender, part # EM07600 are opened, they have a span of 48-1/2 inches. This would accommodate 4 ft wide sheets of plywood you asked about. There are also six tie-down points you can take advantage of when this is installed.

This extender does not come with a hitch pin and clip, so I recommend part # PC3 for a standard hitch pin and if you want to make sure it is secured to your hitch I recommend part # 63232.
