Recommendation to Transport Kayaks While Towing 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Im looking for a over the cab the rack that will hold two kayaks and not obstruct my 5th wheel. What are your suggestions

Because of the overhang from a 5th wheel trailer the best solution for transporting a couple of kayaks while towing is with the combination of a single bar rack for the cab and a front-mounted load extender that installs into a front-mount hitch.

For an all-in-one kit (excluding the front mount hitch) I recommend taking a look at the Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar # RTL002. This includes a universal rooftop crossbar, load stops, strap, and a hitch-mounted extension piece that you will use at the front of the truck instead of at the rear.

Then if you don't already have a front mount hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite # 65063 that's custom designed for your 2018 Ram 3500 and won't require any drilling during installation. I have attached an installation video on this very truck that you can use for reference.

Im looking for a over the cab the rack that will hold two kayaks and not obstruct my 5th wheel. I have a receiver on the front. My truck is a 2013 Ram 3500 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4. I'm pretty sure how it needs to be setup but I am having trouble selecting all the parts I need.

@RandyK A similar setup to above is going to be your best option, using the mentioned # RTL002 Hitch-Mounted Load Assist along with a crossbar setup for your Ram, for which the Rhino-Rack # RR38Z3 will work perfectly.
