Is There a Shorter Bike Frame Adapter Than the Thule Bike Frame Adapter Bar # TH982

I need to mount a pair of childrens bikes to this hitch rack, but the womens frame adapter is too long and wont fit on the child bike frames. Is there a smaller adapter made to accomplish this? Or a special hanger mount/adapter for kids bikes? Any special tricks or ideas?

We do have some smaller adapters. Fully collapsed the Thule adapter bar is 16 inches. We have 2 adapter bars that when fully collapsed measure under 16 inches.

The Yakima bar, part # Y02531, has a minimum of 14-1/2 inches.

I would measure the kids bike frames to make sure adapter will fit.
