I am looking for a BandW Turnover ball hitch for my 2014 Ram 2500. I would like to have this hitch, then later install a Companion 5th wheel. Looking at your website, I see 2 part numbers: BWGNRK1384-5W and BWGNRK1384 What is the difference between the 2? Thank you.

The two part numbers you referenced, # BWGNRK1384-5W and # BWGNRK1384 represent the same actual part. We have separate part numbers for our different fitguides. So if you run your vehicle through the gooseneck fitguide you would see the part # BWGNRK1384 or if you ran it through the fifth wheel fitguide you would end up with the part # BWGNRK1384-5W.
Both part numbers are the correct fit for your 2014 Ram 2500 short bed truck though. For a Companion hitch when you are ready you would need the slider version part # BWRVK3400-5W so that you will have enough clearance to make tight turns.
