Do I need an extra part to hold a womens bike on the Swagman XC 2 bike rack ?

The Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style, part # S64650 has a center mast that has hooks that slide up and down so that they can secure bike frames of different shapes and height.
You should have no problem at all carrying women's bikes with this carrier. You can use an adaptor like part # 64005. The adaptor attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and provides a level attach point if you prefer.
