Can a 7k Rated Leaf Spring be Used on a 6k Rated Trailer Axle

Question:
I have a 2012 Palomino Columbus 320RS with 6000# Lippert axles. Can I install 7000# springs?

A 7,000 lb trailer spring can be used on a 6k rated axle but you should note that this will not give you more capacity. A trailer setup is only rated as high as it's weakest component. So while you may have 7k of spring rating with the # e64SR, you would still only have 6k of axle rating.
