Curt trailer hitch # 13540 is a custom fit product designed specifically to fit the following vehicles so the bolt hole measurement is not really needed:
1997 - 2001 Mercury Mountaineer
1991 - 1994 Mazda Navajo
1991 - 2000 Ford Explorer 2 and 4 Door
2001 - 2003 Ford Explorer 2 Door
2001 - 2001 Ford Explorer 4 Door
But I spoke with my contact at Curt and on the outer most bolt holes that attach to the sides of the frame the distance between them is 41-1/8 inches.
