The depth of the Furrion Marine Speaker with LED part # FMS5L2BLOEM is 2-1/8" so you will need at least this much space to be able to properly mount the speaker. It is a pretty shallow speaker as far as mounting goes and requires the least amount of depth out of all our marine 6" speakers.
