Question:
I have a 2006 Lexus RX330 that we installed a Curt Manufacturing 13530 Class III Receiver , Curt 45036 Class III 2inch Loaded Ball Mount with 2inch Ball and a CURT 55563 T-Connector. We are buying a tent trailer with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 3,500 lbs and want to connect the electric brakes to our car. What else do we need? Please help ASAP!

You will need two things to install a brake controller on your 2006 Lexus RX 330 that has a 4-way installed in it already. First you will need the part # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and install a brake controller. Next you will need a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
