Question:
I have installed the kit for a 4 pin trailer wiring in a Honda pilot with the trailer towing package. I want to add the trailer brake module. I know I need the wiring harness and brake controller. My question is What additional relays and fuses will I need to install to do this ? And which fuse panel will I need to add which fuse ? I also know that I will need to change the harness at the rear to a seven pin plug.

To swap out your existing 4-pole for a 7-way, you'll need part # 118253 which includes all the fuses and relays necessary to fully activate the tow package on your 2010 Pilot. If you previously installed the 4-pole using part # 118491, you've already installed all the needed fuses. You'll just need to add one additional relay in the fuse box located in the cargo area. The # 118253 will provide some fuses and a relay you won't need now, but it's always good to have spares.
I've provided a photo showing exactly where the relay is installed.
The rear bumper of your Pilot has a knockout for installing the 7-way, but you'll need to drill some holes for the hardware. The rear fascia is kind of flimsy, so using the # PK12711U as a backer plate is recommended.
If you don't have a brake controller already, I'd recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. You'll also need the brake controller wiring adapter, part # 3070-P which will allow you to plug the controller into the connector under the steering column.
