Recommended Fifth Wheel Hitch for 1995 GMC 1500 and Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Can my 1995 GMC z71 k1500 8ft bed pull a 6200lb fifth wheel with the right setup I am only going 100 miles max.

Yes and I have just the fifth wheel hitch for you. Take a look at the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30047, and Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP30035. This hitch has a 16000 lb weight capacity and has garnered excellent review from our customers.

For a wiring kit use # 20023. This kit allows Remote Trailer Wiring in the pickup bed when towing 5th Wheel.
