To add a 4- and 7-Way trailer connector to your 1999 Ford Van you will first install a 4-Way such as # 118344. Then, with the 4-Way installed you can install # ETBC7 to add a 7-Way and retain the 4-Way. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
These links also cover the installation of a brake controller. For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
