Replacement Hinge Recommendation for a Thule Summit Cargo Box

Question:
Hi. I ordered the part TH14936 because one of the answers on here said it would work with a Thule Summit. I received it the other day, but havent tried to install it yet because I am wondering if there is supposed to be a right and a left? because this one looks just like the one on the left rear so the hinge would open the opposite direction if I attach it to the front right. I bought this used, so I dont have the old hinge to compare it to. Including an image of the one in place left/rear and holding the other one in my hand up next to it. Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

The hinge kit part # TH14936 is the correct hinge for your Thule Summit. There isn't a left or right hand side hinge. The same hinge would work on both sides of your box.
The original strut for your box is no longer made so this would be the one to use.
