Question:
I have the following configuration and would like to cut the 6 pin plug off the trailer and wire a 4 pin flat male to plug into my bike. How do you suggest I wire this? Trailer 6 pin square plug Neosho Starlight Jupiter trailer Blue = left Green = right yellow = middle brown = everything running white = ground Bike - 4 pin flat Green = right turn and brake yellow = left turn and brake brown = everything running white = ground Obviously the white and brown will match up but Im not too sure how to handle the other wires. Thanks for you help

You'll need two things in order to convert your 6 pin square plug to a 4 way connector, Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer End Connector, # HM48110, and Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter, # 118158.
Since motorcycles use combined wiring, meaning that the brake and turn signals run on the same circuit, when switching the plug we will set up the trailer's wiring in the same way.
You'll want to start by cutting the wires right behind the six way connector. Next wire in the converter, part # 118158. On the output side, green wire to your green, red to your yellow, and yellow to your blue. Now for the input side of the converter, you'll wire these to the new 4-way along with the white and brown trailer wiring, all color for color.
