Can Camper Trailer Rims be Stored for the Winter Left On the Trailer

Question:

hello, I bought these tires from your company last year, kenda: st175/80r13 load D. great tires but after the season ended i put my trailer away and since i was a first time RVer i never thought of lifting the trailer and getting the tires off the ground. does not doing that affect the tires in any way? should i have lifted or taken the tires off the trailer? or should i have let some air out of the tire after parking it and leaving it in the same spot for 6 months? I think that the air pressure has to be 60 or 65 on these tires, right ? and when traveling that should be the amount of air that the tire requires to have, right ?

You should be just fine with your tires and rim part # AM31985. Visually inspect them and make sure they are inflated to their max psi rating (65 psi), and you should be good to go.

If you were planning on storing the trailer for more than just a winter season I would recommend removing the rims just to help preserve the tires. But for just the winter you would be fine the way you did it.
