Can Nev-R-Adjust Brake Assemblies Be Mixed with Manual Adjust Brake Assemblies on Trailer

Question:

I only need to replace one set of brake/bearing assembly. Not sure if the other three brake systems are manual adjustments or not. Can I mix a manual brake adjustment assembly with the Nev-R-Adjust type of brake assembly? Thanks

As long as all of your brake assemblies are adjusted properly it wouldn't matter if some of them were manual adjust and other were Nev-R-Adjusts. If the manual adjust brakes aren't kept in proper adjustment the Nev-R-Adjust assembly will end up wearing out quicker as more of the braking will be down with this assembly since the others wouldn't be as powerful. Ideally you would want to have the same on all wheels.
