Spindles need to be selected based on the set of bearings used in the hubs that will be installed on them. For example, the hub you referenced, 4-on-4-inch # 8-91-05UC1-EZ from Dexter, uses part # L44649 for its inner and outer bearing. If your current hub uses these bearings you can use EZ Lube Spindle # TRU44FR. We also offer a bearing/race/seal kit for this spindle, part # BK1-150, that uses this same bearing set.
The linked photo shows you the typical appearance and location of bearing numbers. If you cannot find the part numbers from your bearings you can use a precision digital caliper to measure the spindles at points C and D and then select bearings whose inner diameters closely match those dimensions. Links to our bearing and spindle pages are included.
