Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2015 Ford E-450 Class C Motorhome

Updated 06/24/2020 | Published 02/26/2015

Question:

I have a 2015 Jayco class c motor home built on a ford e450 superduty chassis. It appears that E-450 is not listed as a valid ford model, is it the same as? It has a hitch and 7-way trailer plug but may not be Ford installed. Help. Regards

I just checked with Tekonsha and they confirmed that the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3034-P that you referenced will work on your E-450 Class C motorhome.

If you are also looking for a brake controller check out our Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This is one of our best selling controllers because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.

I attached a picture that shows where to locate the port.

I ave a 2015 Sierra by Thor in an E 450 SD chassis. The plug for the brake controller behind the change holder does not exist. Is there another location I can look under the instrument panel that has the pre-wired system?

There are actually 2 possible locations for that model year E-450 chassis. Check out the answer page I linked below that shows some pictures as well.

@ChrisR I found it down behind everything above the engine cowl. Should have been plgged in behind the coin holder. Problem solved.
