Braking Monitor/Alarm Kit Not Working When Installed On New RV Motorhome

Question:
I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with an invisibrake and universal brake switch installed. Using a Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar. The system on the Jeep worked great on my 2021 Fleetwood Pace Arrow motor home. I recently purchased a 2024 THOR Resonate motorhome and had the dealer install a new kit on the Resonate motorhome. Jeep system is the same that worked with the last coach. Everything works on the Jeep turn lights, running lights, brakes and brake lights actuated with the exception of the LED warning light in the coach. When I hook up the Jeep and both vehicles are turned off the brake warning LED stays illuminated and the buzzer goes off after 20 sec. The brakes on the Jeep do not get applied. With the motorhome running and brakes activated and held the LED does not illuminate and the buzzer does not sound after 20 sec. I am assuming the dealer did not wire correctly on the new coach since everything worked on the Jeep with the previous motorhome. Thoughts on what to check before I take everything out that they did and start over.

It does sound like they did not install the Braking Monitor/Alarm Kit # RM-98850 correctly for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700. That or whomever installed the entire kit on your Jeep the first time switched something around on both the motorhome and the tow vehicle that made it work.

Thanks Bud. I think I got it figured out. I installed the kits on the Jeep myself and should have done the new motorhome as well. They tied the LED light into the brake controller harness for a trailer on the motorhome.
