Question:

I have a small utility trailer that has a 2000 lb axle. I'd like to replace the hubs, bearings and seals. The hubs use L44643 outer bearings, the inner bearings are the same. My wheels have a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. What hubs do I need?

Thanks for all the information! You provided me with all the info I needed to easily find the hub/bearings that you need.

You'll want to use the Dexter # 8-258-5UC1 hubs. The hub assembly includes the hub, the L44643 bearings, the L44610 races, the grease seal, lug nuts and grease cap.

If it's been awhile since you've had to repack bearings, I've linked you to a video that will show you the whole process. If you need grease, we really like the bio-based Red Grease, part # L11390.

The # 8-258-5UC1 you referred to is for a 2.2K axle with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
