Wheel and Tire Recommendation to Go From 8 inch Trailer Tires to 10 inch Trailer Tires
Updated 01/26/2015 | Published 01/25/2015 >
Question:
I have a small, folding motorcycle trailer that currently has Load Star 5.70inch width tires on 8 inch rims, and I was looking for advice on a comparable tire/wheel combo with 10 inch wheels. Im almost certain there will be room under the fender to clear the larger wheels, as there is no suspension in the trailer. Would also like to keep each tire/wheel combo under $100 if possible. Thank you, my trailer has a 5 bolt pattern on the wheels. Also, the trailer is set up for a max weight of approximately 1,650lbs. Thanks,

As long as you have the additional width clearance for a wider tire a ST205/65-10 tire and rim could work very well for you. This tire will be about 2 inches wider than your current setup.
Since you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern you would instead want the part # AM3H350. This wheel has a 1,650 lb capacity per wheel/tire so it would be more than enough for you.
