Will a hitch meant for a 1996 ford f350 fit my 1987 chevy k20 frame width? Thanks

It would be quite unusual - and really lucky - for a hitch that fits a 1996 Ford truck to also fit a 1987 Chevy pickup. There are currently a wide range of hitches offered for both vehicles. These fit the various versions of the two trucks.

There are 17 hitches offered for the different versions of the 1996 F-350 depending on its bumper type and bed length. Please see the included link. There are 20 for the 1987 K-Series, shown on the other link.

If you can tell me the bumper type and bed length for each of the two trucks I will see if any one hitch fits both. Please refer to the linked article on bumper types. I would be quite surprised if this were the case.
