Is the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug Rated for Outdoor Use

Question:

Plug says Caution: For indoor use only I suggest that you look at one of these plugs to verify that it is suitable for outdoor use.... the wording on the plug indicates it is for indoor use only. I dont know many folks who camp indoors.

The Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug, part # A10-P30VP, can be used outdoors but this plug can not be exposed directly to the elements since it is not 100% waterproof. As long as there is a door or other form of protection on the power outlet box, this will be perfectly acceptable. You just wouldn't want to unplug the power cord and leave it in the open or just laying on the ground.
