Will this mount fit on the side of a Carson 5 x 10 utility trailer

Yes, If you have an enclosed utility trailer, you could bolt on the spare tire carrier, # 413200, to the side provided that you were to re-enforce the area where the carrier is to be mounted. You can do this by attaching wood cross braces inside the trailer between vertical frame posts. Then, when you bolt the carrier to the outside, you would bolt it through the side of the trailer and into the wood cross braces. You will have to drill holes in the carrier in order to bolt it into place.
If you have an open trailer with angle iron rails, you can weld the carrier to it or bolt the carrier into place.
