This heavy-duty coupler lock obstructs access to your trailer coupler to prevent would-be thieves from hitching your trailer to their tow vehicle and driving off with your gear.
The lock is constructed of extruded, tempered aluminum, making it strong and durable. The lock housing features a double nickel chrome finish, and the shuttered keyhole protects the inside of the lock from the elements. Complete with a yellow powder coat finish, this high-visibility coupler lock is both sturdy and rust resistant. And the bright color provides additional theft deterrent.
To install this lock on your coupler, insert the key and rotate it to release the locking pin. Slide the lock body onto the flat lip of your trailer coupler. Push the locking pin into the hitch ball socket to engage, rotate the key back to lock the pin in place, and remove the key.

Can be keyed alike to match other etrailer locks.Great looking product. Works as advertised. I think most would-be trailer thieves would keep moving when they notice this lock. However, if the bad guy was motivated and prepared, I don't think this product would put up too big of a fight against a heavy prybar (I don't think a flat prybar would get this off, but a big long round bar prybar/crowbar definitely would). This is good security, not high security.
Very simple design. Probably could be sledge hammered off, but most of the battle is showing up, and this lock puts the word out that it will be annoying to have to deal with, so it's a great deterrent. Easy to install/remove with the key. Have to keep lubed though, as with any lock outside. Paint/coating is great.
This is a nice lock. My trailer is a 2016 Riverside Retro and this lock fits on the coupler perfectly.
After one year of use, I’ve found this is by far the best coupler lock I have ever owned. It slides on easily, secures with a 90 degree turn of the key, and offers great peace of mind wile our travel trailer is in storage. The yellow can’t be missed. It’s a well built, tough product. I believe it will last for many years.
Best trailer lock I've found. Thieves can steal anything if they want it bad enough but this lock makes them move on to an easier mark.
I'm really happy with this tongue lock. The hardest part in getting this thing in place was getting it out of the package! No frills, just quality! Thanks etrailer for another great product!
Bought for my travel trailer. Unfortunately our hitch is “stubby” with a “ramp” piece to help guide the ball into the hole better which prevents the lock from sliding far enough on & lock. Decided to keep for use on jetski trailer instead of returning.
Have locks on all my trailers and like the fact that I purchase different colored locks to simplify finding the proper key having many trailers,wish that some day having one key that works on all the locks.
Fits perfectly, easy on and off and the bright yellow warns people stealing this trailer will require some work.
The e trailer coupler lock works perfectly with trailer that I have. I’ve had no issues or problems with the lock.

After one year using this coupler lock, it still functions perfectly.
Since my trailers are in view from the street I put locks on them. This is easy on an off but still more secure then my older ones. So I do use them more and I don’t have get down on ground with an Allen wrench to put it on. Luv it!
Guys, I think you are all doing a great Job! I made a big order. Then I had Changes that Kate stepped in and took care of. She helped me in making choices. canceling some long lead parts for alternatives. I got everything I needed. Even the long lead chocks. Just what I needed. E trailer never dis appoints.
This fits great on my Forest River RV Trailer with a flat lip on the tongue of the trailer. It is very easy to put on and take off and very secure on the trailer.

I am sure it works well if it fit. Either I was confused or the description was misleading. Either way it does not fit my rig. This does not fit older Airstreams.
Sometimes key won't turn but other than that works great.

This can be a common problem with these type of locks. You can use a penetrating oil in the lock to help loosen it up. It will help with turning the key in the lock. Has it been happening all year or just when it is cold?
Put it on a camper and it is doing its job..

just received it. installed it on the hitch but it fit a little tight and i had to tap it in in order to lock

Great product. I feel it’s a great deterrent for a would be thief. Bright color tells thief “not an easy target.”
