The basket front and rear crossbars serve as mounting points for Yakima bike and boat carriers. The basket accepts any Yakima mount accessory that works with a crossbar spread of 32".

Large, sturdy, and a great addition to the car. Very happy with the purchase. The only thing to note, which I don’t consider a “problem” but is a reality, is that it definitely creates more wind noise on the highway compared to not having it.

A perfect first trip from our home in Boylston MA to Newark, Delaware to drop our daughter off at college. Packed the rack with a small mountain of stuff, covered it with a waterproof tarp. A seven hour trip mostly in pouring rain, left everything pack in the hotel parking lot overnight in the still raining. The rain stopped in the late morning and in time for our move in time. At move in we uncovered the load to find everything dry an exactly in place. Great product, I now leave it on the car for my everyday needs.

Great rack. Nicely powder coated. Easy on / off for Winter Storage. Looks great on my 2018 Dodge Durango GT. Very versatile. I’ve hauled everything from luggage to lumber.
Extremely happy highly… from the online purchase to the delivery it was a great experience. Item arrived as described well packed and on time. Putting together was a bit problematic in the beginning but a little adjustments here and there I was able to complete the task. Placing and securing onto my Thule cross bar was a breeze no issues at all, everything matched. Quality from Yakima so far outstanding let’s hope it stays that way. A shout out to Jesse great CS.
