Question:

I have a question about part C18115, the Curt rooftop cargo basket. I see in the description that it can accommodate crossbar spreads of 15, 22 and 29 inches. I am looking for a cargo basket that can hold my spare tire ~30 diameter and also be compatible with the old Yakima Space Booster I already have mounted to the square bars. Right now my crossbars are at 34 apart, and the Space Booster will also allow a 32 spread. Is it possible for the mounting brackets on this Curt rooftop cargo carrier to be set at 34 or 32, and if not, can you recommend a similar product that will work for my setup?

Hey Andrew, the closest roof basket we have to the Curt # C18115 that you referenced that would work with a 32 inch crossbar spread would be the Yakima # Y07070 which is a similar size at 44" Long x 39" Wide. Would this work for you?
