SOLID construction ... this thing is a beautiful little block of metal with a robust skewer and clamp. I’ll be using mine mounted to a 2x6 running across the front of my F150 bed floor. Very nicely made. 1” lag bolts fit well under the curved shape.

I got my part it is in great shape and is exactly what I wanted. The delivery was quick and even though the money was held in my account, it was not officially transferred until the part was delivered.

With a little adaption the Yakima brackets mounted to my built in bed rails on my 2010 Nissan Frontier. With my truck cap this makes my bikes safe and secure, out of sight out of mind.
Have used the block head bike mounts by Yakima on trips of 800 to 1500 miles with no incident. Easy to mount the bikes and they have not released even on bumpy roads. Great product for my truck box and bikes are always in view.
